Join us for our 11th Funding the Commons conference in Bangkok in November 2024! 🙌
FtCBangkok will explore two focal areas:
The evolution of innovation in digital public goods and open web funding, with a focus on impact evaluation and related challenges.
Local and regional approaches in Southeast Asia (SEA) concerning commons-in-practice and public goods.
This conference is intentionally designed to be interactive and hands-on, emphasizing intimate engagement and peer-to-peer learning through interactive workshops, with an intimate main stage area for presentations.

Digital Public Goods and Open Web Funding
Impact evaluation and certification
Learning from, and bridging to, institutional and governmental funding
Infrastructure for, and as, a public good – such as privacy preserving frameworks, decentralized storage/DePIN, data economies, and AI ethics
Pattern languages around funding mechanisms as they have been developing in web3/ digital public goods and open source
Local/Regional SEA
Civic tech and cooperatives
Fintech real world impact – such as crypto-fiat onramps and humanitarian aid
Public utilities and urban planning
Food security
