Women in Climate Meetup - November 2024
This is a monthly virtual (via zoom) meetup for women who work in, or want to work in, climate.
We will use a Lean Coffee format, where we co-create the agenda real-time and get through the topics that are most interesting to the group. Each month we'll pick an industry learning theme and a jobs related theme to focus on.

Room 1: Reducing food waste at the last mile
Guest: Chrissy Ford is CEO of food storage company STOR. Before bootstrapping a kitchen appliance business, Chrissy was a competitive athlete, front office investment banker, and management consultant. Chrissy is a self-proclaimed “pretend-gineer” who loves to interface with engineering and manufacturing teams closely as a path to commercializing more efficiently. She can be overheard using the word “scrappy” a lot.

Room 2: Elections results and their impact on climate
Guest: Susan Su is a founding member of the board at the Carbon Business Council, a trade association representing over 100 carbon removal organizations around the world. Susan is also host of the Climate on the Edge podcast, dedicated to exploring frontier climate interventions, is a climate-focused investment partner at venture capital firm Toba Capital, and blogs regularly at climatemoney.substack.com.
