Out in Climate Book Club: What If We Get It Right?
We’re excited to launch Out In Climate’s first book club! Climate anxiety is not only really, it’s on the rise as headlines continue to instill fear and urgency about our changing planet. But we have a way to combat this and it’s through COMMUNITY!
Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson agrees and recently published her book What If We Get It Right? a look at what a future world holds if we are able to not just decarbonize but transform our planet and society for the better with equity and justice at the center.
We’ll host discussion sessions on a weekly basis (some breaks for the holidays) where we can break down concepts, share our thoughts, and build a support network of learning and joy. We’ll gather as a full group and do smaller breakout sessions depending on attendance to keep it 5-6 people/group. Please register if you are interested and we’ll add you to the Zoom link schedule (see below). If you see this after we started or miss a session, no worries, just catch up and join the next one!
